Personal introduction of
Elena Martín Curto

My arrival in the world of law was not a direct path, but instead I took other paths which, however, only reaffirmed my true passion and vocation, LAW.

Salmantina by birth, I began my university studies at the University of Salamanca, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting. These years offered me a broad learning, of course in languages (English and German, mainly), but also in understanding that language is not everything to understand people. You also have to know how to listen, accept other cultures, other ways of seeing and doing things and only in this way is there a true understanding between people.

Whilst studying the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting, I also started my law degree in Salamanca, at the beginning of secondary school, quickly discovering that this was what I wanted to do, and finally ending up being my vocation.

The combination of both studies has allowed me a training in languages, in language itself, in the different branches of law, from other countries and cultures, giving shape to a necessary and essential background for now developing my professional life in Law practice.

Once I finished my university studies, I worked in different law firms: large, medium and small. Once again, these experiences have shaped my own personal way of practicing this profession, which from my own office I now put into practice and provide for my clients with passion, loyalty and the utmost dedication.
